Sifu Lee Shing relocated from Hong Kong to the United Kingdom in the late 50s/early 60s
He came from Hong Kong with the blessing and endorsement of Grand Master Yip Man to teach Wing Chun.
As such he is credited as the man that originally brought Wing Chun to Europe.
In addition to the Foshan Wing Chun commonly associated with the grand master he also taught the Gulau wing chun of Leung Jaan.
Sifu Lee Shing taught the first generation of students in London England including many great and famous sifu such as Joseph Cheng, Simon Lau, Sam Kwok, Austin Goh, Joseph Mann and others including Sifu Joseph Lee.
Sifu Joseph continues to pass down this rich lineage of wing chun direct from Sifu Lee Shing including the rare Gulau system.
Some question this, however in 1987 Editor Bey Logan wrote a detailed article in combat magazine entitled "from where the water flows" in which was specific reference to Gulau Wing Chun as described by Lee Shing and the so-called lost form that some call the 12 hand form.
108 Wing Chun is one of the only schools offering to teach Gulau Pin San wing chun as taught by GM Lee Shing.
Classes in London and Kent - Bromley and Sidcup - message now and join this amazing group of wing chun enthusiasts.
